Neon Bible

It's been over a year and a half since Arcade Fire released Neon Bible. Before the release they did a superb promotional job. The Neon Bible website was both beautiful and creepy. And those are two words i rarely use to describe a page. Highlights include frightening televangelists, scary synchronized swimmer,  and a phone number to dial and hear very rough versions of songs off the album before the release.

The neat part of the site was that it evolved from throughout the weeks, building up to the release, and adding content long after. They added a sweet lyrics page, a video for black mirror, and live video of an unreleased song.

For the first time in a while, I went back to the page last night to check up on one of my favorite bands and i found a new treat. I guess you could call it an interactive video for the titular song, Neon Bible. It is super simple but kinda eerie, as i type this i realize thats how i would describe the song as well. Anyway, its worth checking out if your a fan. Follow the link and click on "#2- be oNline B". Enjoy.
